Ian Sawan is an American actor of (quite) mixed ethnicity. "Where are you from" is a loaded question for him- and while the short answer is 'Palestinian-Vietnamese with an American passport', he is actually Palestinian (on his father's side) and Vietnamese, Indian and Dutch (on his mother's side).   

To further complicate things, Ian actually grew up somewhere entirely different! He moved to Doha, Qatar at the age of 5, living there until he graduated high school. It was in Doha that he discovered his passion for music, dance, singing, and above all, acting- this led him to pursue a degree in Acting after graduating high school. Ian graduated from the world-renowned BA Acting (UK BFA) program at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in July 2020 . 

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, he moved to the U.S. and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where he is now represented by Ursula Wiedmann Models for TV/ Film, Commercial, and Print.
